Little Warm Fuzzies
I made a pair of orangey mittens for a child, using a Lopi-like wool, the name of which I can’t remember, and then carried along a thin strand of mohair yarn with it for the hand portion. Nice and thick and warm. I haven’t decided yet whether they will go to a local drive for the homeless shelter (probably) or the Dulaan Project. The mug, which came from Amy Boogie’s pottery shop (and would make a lovely holiday gift for someone you love) is placed in the photo for scale. I believe the mittens will fit a 4-6-year-old.
