Just in Time Mittens

It’s turned cold in New Jersey (19° F or -7° C yesterday morning), but I have warm hands thanks to my new pair of snow shoveling mittens. These are meant to be layered over gloves because layers make a difference for warm hands.

When I dig out, I have a routine: driveway, sidewalks, shrubs, fire hydrant. That often-neglected last step is important for personal and public safety. That’s what warm hands are all about!
